Jeffrey Brier is the president of the insurance and employee benefits agency, Brier & Brier located in Providence, Rhode Island. He founded the firm in 1985 with his father, Milton Brier. His commitment to being a professional insurance advisor is exemplified by his having earned the CLU, ChFC and CASL professional designations.

 

Mr. Brier believes it is important to give back to one’s community and has served on many non-profit boards over the past 40 years. He is a past board chair of The Miriam Hospital, The Miriam Hospital Foundation, the Jewish Community Center of Rhode Island, Camp Jori, Ledgemont Country Club and Hospice of Nursing Placement.

 

While serving as the board chair of The Miriam Hospital, Mr. Brier was instrumental in establishing a professional exchange program with Emek Medical Center in Afula, Israel, where he and his wife Jessica  also established the Jessica and Jeffrey Brier Nursing and Medical Research Fund, which annually rewards researchers at the hospital. They continue to actively participate in this program and often travel to Israel.

 

Mr.  Brier graduated from Moses Brown School and earned a B.A. at Lake Forest College and an MBA from Washington University. He and Jessica live in Warren, Rhode Island.
