The forum offered the opportunity to hear from neuroscience thought leaders from Rhode Island to Israel about their insights and perspectives on the evolution of neuroscience research and what excites them about the future prospects for the field. RI Secretary of Commerce provided opening remarks for the forum. The keynote speaker was Professor Alon Friedman, M.D., Ph.D., who led the establishment of the Inter-Faculty Brain Sciences School at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU).
