Providence, Rhode Island - March 27, 2025 - The Rhode Island Israel Collaborative (RIIC) is pleased to announce the election of two board members to new leadership positions during its March 27, 2025 board meeting. The appointment took effect March 29th, 2025.
David Hirsch has been elected as President, and Limor Nevel has been elected as Vice President.
David Hirsch, who previously served as the organization's attorney, an active board member, will bring his legal expertise and passion for RIIC's mission to his new role as President.

Limor Nevel, who has been an active board member and Secretary for RIIC, will assume the role of Vice President and work alongside Hirsch to guide the organization's future growth.
Avi Nevel, the Founder, President, and CEO of RIIC, will relinquish his presidential duties but will remain an essential part of the organization's continued success. He believes the appointment of Hirsch and Nevel will further strengthen RIIC's mission of fostering meaningful connections between Rhode Island and Israel in academia, business, and research.
"I am looking forward to working with David, Limor, and the rest of the board members as we continue to expand our organization's reach and impact," said Nevel.
