RIIC and Bryant University Practicum Program Entered into its Sixth Semester of Collaboration

The Rhode Island-Israel Collaborative (RIIC) and Bryant University proudly announce the continued partnership in the International Business (IB) program's capstone practicum, now in its sixth consecutive semester. This collaboration connects an Israeli company aiming to enter the U.S. market with Bryant University students, offering real-world experience in addressing complex international business challenges.

Avi Nevel, CEO, and Founder of RIIC, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "We are delighted to work with Professor Inci, the new incoming director of the practicum program, and the students. We truly believe that this collaboration is mutually beneficial for both the students and the participating Israeli companies, as demonstrated over the past five semesters."

Throughout this mandatory course for all IB seniors, students function as consultants, tackling multifaceted issues that companies encounter while considering various factors, such as logistics, politics, economics, and social aspects that transcend borders. In the upcoming Fall 2024 semester, students will collaborate with an Israeli company specializing in cybersecurity resilience and education, The students will research and propose solutions and strategies to the company with the best way to enter and operate in the U.S. market. The students will benefit greatly from getting exposed to an international company trying to enter the U.S. market.

The RIIC worked with the Israel Federation of Chambers of Commerce International Relations Division to identify the current Israeli company that will participate in the program.

In the past, Israeli companies who participated in the field were in Health Care, Sustainable Agriculture, Analytics for Sailing and others.

Other Israeli companies interested in participating in future practicum programs are encouraged to contact info@theriic.org for more information.
